Grayson Koval, M.D.
Interventional Pain Management Physician
Dr. Grayson Koval is a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship trained interventional pain physician. A native Texan, Dr. Koval grew up in the DFW metroplex and earned his undergraduate degree in biology at Baylor University. He then completed medical school and residency at the University of Texas at Southwestern Medical School, graduating in top quartile of his class and receiving the Pepper Jenkins Medical Student Award in Anesthesiology. During residency, Dr. Koval developed a passion for pain management and therefore completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
As an interventional pain management physician, Dr. Koval provides comprehensive pain management care. He carefully considers each patient’s unique case in order to provide a tailored pain management approach. He believes there are multiple ways to effectively manage chronic pain and his mission is to find the best approach for each patient. By providing individualized, patient-centric, and evidence-based treatment, Dr. Koval helps patients live a more active and rewarding life and learn how to manage their chronic pain effectively.
Dr. Koval is happily married to his wife, Emily, who is a pediatric speech and language pathologist. They are the proud parents of twins, Cotton and Remington. Dr. Koval enjoys spending time with his family, being an active member of his local church, traveling to National Parks, and hiking/camping.
